Dead lift and Burpee Tabata
Complete 16 intervals (20 seconds work, followed by 10 seconds rest), alternating between dead lifts and burpees.
This was brutal today. Didn’t do as well as I’d have liked. My numbers were all messed up. I’ve done smoething like this before but not tabata, with :20 on :40 off. I was able to stay consistently in the 6-8 DL/burpee range. However, with only 10 seconds of rest, i was really hosed. Keeping my butt down per Mike also made it more of a challenge. I had to spend more time in the setup before getting going with the DL, leading to one round with only two DL and another round with only 1! ack.
I started at 6/7, then dropped to about 5/6, then was fairly consistent at 4/5 through the end except for a couple crappy sets of 1 and 2 DLs.
